The original reason why I was riding to Panama City Beach was to visit Funland Arcade, a relic from the 1980's when Arcades were ubiquitous. There's something special and unique about the few surviving original arcades, often found in faded beachside towns that are metaphorical for both the businesses and the towns fortunes. In many ways for me, visiting these places is revisiting some of the best memories of my childhood, and reliving the awe and excitement the first time I played pinball or Off-Road.
